Norman Ethre Jennett (1877-1970), native of Wayne County, N.C., was a cartoonist and art editor for various publications. Jennett worked as a cartoonist for the Raleigh (N.C.) News and Observer, 1895-1898; the New York Herald, 1901-1917; and Flying and its successor, Aerial Age Weekly, 1917-1923; and as art editor for McFadden Publications, 1923-1939. Jennett married Helen Mary MacGinness in 1901 and they and their two children lived in Cedar Grove, N.J., until the 1950s...
